THE BEGINING
Before the dawn of time primordial there stood two apposing forces, that of the Light and that of the Shadow. Both forces coexisted to create a harmonic balance in the universe. These two forces “were” the known universe. But the Shadows became greedy with power wanting more and more control of existence, and this created an imbalance.
The shadows began plotting ways to gain total dominance over the universe regardless of the overall impact it could cause. Seeing the rise of chaos and impending inevitability the Light had to stop the shadow's evil demise.
The Light, gathered a force like none seen in the universe, forged from its very essence a unique entity and granting it universal knowledge and wisdom. With this synergy of knowledge and wisdom this entity or force had an advantage over the shadows, UNDERSTANDING. And with this understanding this force of light could wield the knowledge against the shadows to stop their ambitious plans. The light endowed the force with a name, Illuminate. It was a name that would be revered wherever it went and remembered forever, a name that meant "Warrior of Light". Illuminate created a force unequaled in the universe, it was called "The Legion Of Light".
The shadows saw this new force and knew that it was strong, strong enough to stop their plans for control. They hatched a plan that would eventually pit these two great forces against each other, a plan whose eventual outcome would become inevitable. In a sea of emptiness of harmonic balance and order, these two great forces stood face to face, poised on the brink of battle. One set on total domination, the other set to maintain order and balance.
And in an instance the inevitable occurred. The two great forces clashed. The known universe was thrown into chaos as these two forces battled for control. The natural order and balance was instantly unraveled. The existence was thrown into turmoil as Light and Shadow struggled for control. Soon the natural existence would begin to collide with itself. Element colliding with element, gas mixed with gas, all a fall out of the clashing of forces. And as the elemental existence collided with itself, chaos and self-generation occurred. All the while the two great forces battle on with little knowledge of the havoc they were creating. Gas mixed with gas and exploded into chaos, element and element collided to form imbalance. The battle and chose seemed to last an eternity.
All at once, seeing no end in sight, the two great forces paused. They looked around and saw the chaos they had created. The known universe was in flame. Collision of existence was forming all around them and they decided to call a truce. The great battle of the universe was over.
Both forces made an agreement and a mandate that neither force would be in control. They would both govern equally. They both formed a governing council, the Council of Light and the Council of Shadows. This unified body would govern the know universe and attempt to regain order form chaos. They both agreed that each would take responsibility for the chaos and each would have control of it. They called it the Physical Universe. Each force would share control. The Light would control the day, and the Shadows controlled the night. To monitor each other they agreed that wherever there was light there would always be shadow. And wherever there was night there would always be light. And they both agreed to let the physical universe run its own course to its eventual end, without interference. And so the mandate was set and they called it Yin Yang, which meant equal balance equal control.
The first order of business for this new council was to figure out how to bring this physical universe back into balance. So they created two laws, the law of time and the law of motion. These two laws set in motion the physical universe, giving it its path back to rebalance. From these laws they created others like the law of dimension, meant to confine the chaos and the cycles that were meant to control the new creation.
Now the shadows did not necessarily fully agree with this mandate. But as part of the agreement they both agreed that if either side interfered in the natural order of the newborn physical universe they would loose their control over it. But secretly the shadows hatched a plan, a plan that could eventually regain them control and domination over all the know universe.
Element by element they monitored the motion and cycles, manipulating them so as not to be seen. Soon within the physical universe grew an anomaly, a place where all dark matter collected and formed. As this dark matter collected it began to collide forming a dark star. A star so ominous that not even the Light could penetrate it, a star whose voracious appetite consumed all things around it, even the light. The Shadows called this place “Dominion” and soon they had a fortress that the Light could not enter and they would be able to set their plans in motion.
Now the Light fearing this anomaly and even more curious as to its formation, began to investigate. But they could find no trace of interference by the shadows. Every time the light tried to near the place it would be consumed, so they posted sentinels to keep watch of this monster……………
